"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul" Acts 4:32(a)
The Master Builder

Greetings! Greetings!

The Master Builder. The Master Builder. The Master Builder. Receive strength just from the thought of it. Think about that title. The Master Builder. The Lord gave me this in February of 1998 and I want to share it with you now.

A Master. I wanted to break this down and know exactly what it meant. What does the Lord really want us to know? He said to tell you that He is The Master Builder. A Master. A master is a teacher. A schoolmaster or a tutor. A master is a learned person -- a scholar. It's an expert.

I wanted to also know what a Builder was. A Builder is one that builds. A person who contracts for and supervises the construction of a building.

The Master Builder

Jeremiah 18:1-6 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

I studied these verses. I studied these scriptures. They blessed me tremendously. He said in Verse 1: The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, [2] arise, and go down to the potter's house, and that "I will cause thee." The Lord said, "I will do it." So even from the beginning of our lesson, the Lord is letting us know that "I will. I will. I will be the one to do it all." I will cause you to hear my words. "It will be by my power. It will be by my strength." "I will do it." Then the word of the Lord spake unto Jeremiah. He said I went down to the potter's house. Jeremiah begins to notice what is going on there at the wheel. [4] And the vessel that he made of clay was marred. I looked up that word marred. Marred means dead, worthless. So the potter concluded within himself "I will make it again." We are talking about The Master Builder. Our Master Builder is Jesus Christ. Remember "it's all in the name Jesus." The Lord caused Jeremiah to hear His words. We know that no one can come to the Lord except he be drawn. No one is capable of hearing His words unless the Lord unstops the ears "to hear what the Spirit" is saying to each person. Jesus Christ wants you and I to know that He is The Master Builder. Let that go over and over in your mind. The Master Builder. The Master Builder. The Master Builder.

The word of God brings light, excitement, life, restoration, regeneration, healing, recreation, deliverance and keeping power.

First, we must recognize Him, Jesus Christ. St. John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

We must know who The Master Builder is. Where did He come from? What is His mission? All things were made by Him. Here, [He] Jesus Christ is telling us plainly, "I am The Master Builder." Jesus Christ. He is The Master Builder.

Who is this person that is suppose to be proficient? He is an expert. He knows all about each one of us. Romans 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! The Master Builder. He is showing the way. He will do it all. He, after all, has all power. He cannot fail. He will not fail. The Lord wants to make and mold us into something great. We cannot do anything without Him. Just face it. We are worthless as we try to exist outside of the blood. Inside of the blood -- inside of Jesus -- inside of The Master Builder is overcoming power. Outside of the blood is death, death and death. The word confirms for without me ye can do nothing. St. John 15:5[b].

The Master Builder, He is telling each one about how He works and He is telling us about ourselves. "Outside of me, you have no life." Jesus is life. Jesus is truth. Jesus is the only way. We need to recognize Him and we need to recognize the state that we are in. This is His air that we are breathing. It is because of Him that we woke up this morning. It is because of Jesus Christ that we are able to move and have the activity of our limbs. It's The Master Builder.

Notice, in the scriptures, the role of each the potter and the clay. They both have basic roles that each one must play. Now, each of us has a part that we must fulfill. Jesus Christ will always do His part. We are the ones who fail and tend to go back on our word. Jesus never, never fails. The Master Builder is telling us that. We all have a part that we must play. We have a part and God, through the blood of His son, Jesus, will do the rest.

The potter is skilled and he knows what it is that he wants to do with the clay. From the beginning, the potter knows what to do with the clay. He has a distinct mission and plan for the clay. Now, The Master Builder -- God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit -- have a plan for each born-again-believer, if we would only yield.

The Lord has no trouble with animals. He has no trouble with abstract objects that cannot move. Humans -- humans. We give Him all the trouble. He struggles with us over and over again. If we look at the Old Testament, He has tried down through the years over and over again to get people to go right and they wanted to go left. He wanted them to go up and they wanted to go down. He wanted them to look up to the hills and they wanted to look down in the valley. If we would only yield, He knows what it is that He wants us to do in this final hour. We are all needed to work.

For the most part, we are the only ones that will be able to shine the Jesus light to our family members. No one else will have a greater chance of reaching our loved ones but us -- you and I. They will see the light of Jesus shining and they will be compelled by that great blood-love-light to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Second, we must be made ready to shine that light. We must be presentable. Have you ever thought about going on a job interview? You go through many changes in the process of getting ready. There are many steps -- many types of preparations to undertake. Oh, you may shave; you may even cut your hair. Preparation, preparation, and more preparation is needed. You may even do a little research on the company that you are interested in pursing. You may shine your shoes or even purchase a new suit.

Well, The Master Builder, he has to get us ready to win the lost in our family. He has to teach us how to talk to them with His love. He has to teach us to look at them through His love. He has to teach and train us over and over again for this great mission. We have to be taught to listen -- yes, listen through HIS love.

The Master Builder, He needs each and every one of us BUT we must be made ready and fit to be used by Him in this last and final hour. We must be willing to follow instructions. We must be willing to follow the same instructions as Mary, the earth mother of Jesus, when she told the people who gathered around at Jesus' first miracle. Remember, when Jesus turned the water into wine? St. John 2:5 What did Jesus tell those people? She told them whatever he saith unto you, do it. Whatever he saith unto you, do it. That's the key! That is the key in this last and final hour. Whatever He asks of us, let's do it. Whatever He tells us to do through prayer, fasting and living in the Word, let's be obedient to His voice and do it.

If He tells us through His word that this is a separating hour, just do it. If He tells us He wants us to fast three hours each day, just do it. If He tells you and I that He wants us to study; to have intercessory prayer, just do it. Just do what He says. Jesus Christ is The Master Builder.

The clay had to yield to what the potter was doing. Nowhere, as we read, do we hear anything about the clay rejecting and pulling against the hand of the potter. They worked so well together. Even when the potter tore the clay apart and began to start again, there was never a response such as "no, no not me." The clay "yielded." It became what it was that the potter wanted what the potter envisioned it to be. From the very beginning the potter knew the plan he had for the clay. The Lord knows what He has for each one of us. He knows our capabilities. He knows what we can do -- what we can do through the power that is in the blood of Jesus Christ. Did you know that there is no failure in the blood of Jesus Christ? The blood contains that which seems impossible to man. You or I may not be able to see with the natural eye, but God knows what we are capable of and He wants to use each willing, spirit-filled vessel. He knows what we can do.

The problem is in convincing us that through Him we are capable. He is ready. He is ready, willing and able. He has to get us ready. Our minds must be conditioned. Notice, at one point, the clay was dead -- marred -- it was useless. The potter, he decided within himself; he decided that he would start over again. Now, I want each of us to think about this. The potter, HE came to the conclusion, "no, we are going to start over again."

Now, you walk the waters a little bit and then decide, "No, I am going back." You may get up in the morning and start a fast, "No, no, not today." A soul may come before you, "no, I am not saying anything to them today." The word of God lets us know that the potter he decided within himself what was good and what was not. Who are we to determine that we are unable? Why should you and I say to ourselves that we are not worthy; that we are no good? Who are we to say that we can't talk; can't speak, Moses. "Lord, why are you going to send me down there to talk to those people. I am not eloquent. I stutter and my speech doesn't become me, Lord." The Lord had to remind Moses, "did not I make your mouth? I will certainly be with you." The Lord The Master Builder wants each one of us to know that He is well able to perform in the lives of His bridal members. He is WELL ABLE to perform that which He has said. He has promised healing to our bodies; soundness of mind, joy unspeakable and full of glory. He has promised to be with us in each valley and every mountaintop experience.

Like the potter, decide that that which is unfruitful, dead and lifeless must be done away with. To be used by The Master Builder, we have to allow Jesus Christ to "do away with," certain useless parts of our lives. After all, He knows the beginning and ending of each man. Isn't that something to think about? He knows when "go home time," is for each person now on planet earth. He knows. Working with the Holy Spirit, He is the only one that can get you and I ready -- ready to meet Him in the air. He is the Spirit of Truth. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you St. John 14:26. He will lead us. He will guide us into all truth. He will get us ready. As we live in His presence through prayers, fasting and living in His word, He will shape, make and mold us. He will remove all clutter and grains of sand from our minds.

This is Part I of a wonderful series about Jesus Christ The Master Builder. This is a great time to begin again. Please repeat this simple prayer with me, asking The Master Builder to restore, create, deliver, and most importantly, save you. He is willing. He is ready. He wants you, dear one. No one has ever loved you like Jesus. He does love you.

Oh, God! I have sinned against you. I am so sorry! I have come home, and I'm going to serve you, Lord, the rest of my life. I do believe. I do believe that you are The Master Builder. I believe that the blood of your Son, Jesus Christ can make me clean and whole. Come on into my heart and help me. Help me, Lord. I trust and believe that through the blood, I can make it. I do believe that I can make it with your help. Oh, Lord, I want your help. Save my soul. Come on into my heart, Jesus! Come in!

If you meant that prayer, He has come.

Praise Him, He is Yours!
